How innovative can a company be that was originally founded in 1895? Well - the answer is, actually, very innovative! This is not least down to the fact that we find ourselves in a globally unique position. We own one of the most significant kaolin deposits in Germany, giving us access to one of nature's most versatile industrial raw materials. We also know what to do with it, namely produce high quality, refined industrial minerals which open up new perspectives in numerous target industries. Once these raw materials have been processed into products which boost productivity and improve working conditions, they contribute to the prosperity of entire industries. Ultimately, this safeguards the jobs and livelihoods of countless people.

It’s the details that make the difference. Our expertise in particle and crystallization technology, which has been built up over many years, enables us to selectively develop innovative (guideline) recipes for customers. On top of this, our application engineering laboratories also work on the optimization of existing formulations. Today, we are proud of our role as the leading solution provider in Europe’s refined industrial minerals sector.

“Accelerating together” was back on the agenda at Dorfner. At the end of March 2012, a group of business partners in the quartz products segment gathered at company headquarters. During international Partner Days, attention was totally focused on functional fillers for industrial floor coatings based on quartz sand and GRANUCOL® UP as well as the on best way to market those products worldwide.
