Purest white with the finest consistency

Dorfner supplies the raw materials for the ceramic worlds of tomorrow

Increased productivity for the material of the future

The potential range of applications for Dorfner industrial materials for the ceramics industry ranges from ceramics for sanitaryware and wall/floor tiles to high-grade porcelain and demanding technical ceramics. A high degree of purity and customizable product grain size which can be fine-tuned to each customer's individual requirements guarantee to keep production costs low and make sure that the highest production standards are met. Our washed and ground ceramic kaolins are processed through a complex, multi-stage hydrocyclone screening process. Due to their high kaolin content, they are preferred Al2O3 substrates with a low alkaline content and pleasingly low Fe2O3 and TiO2 values, as well as having a pure-white fired color.

DORSILIT® quartz sand powder is ground without iron, chemically inert and easily dispersible, and stands out with a high SiO2 content of > 98 percent by weight. DORSILIT® crystalline quartz sand is washed repeatedly, offers a high SiO2 content and is free of humic substances and other impurities. DORKASIL® is a potash feldspar with a particularly wide sintering interval, has a white fired color and a very low Fe2O3 and TiO2 content.
