Paints need multifunctional filler materials

Excellent hiding power. Improved wet scrub resistance. First-class matting. Excellent processability. The demands placed on dispersion paints are as diverse as they are tough - so as a result, they are almost impossible to meet with conventional fillers. With the DORKAFILL® series of highly specialized brand products for the paints industry we have taken a completely new approach and can now offer the first multifunctional filler system which allows dispersion paints to be selectively "tuned" to completely new levels of performance.

Refining is the key

Kaolin is the raw material on which we base our multifunctional filler materials. We source this material in sufficiently high quality from our own natural mineral deposits, which are big enough to safeguard coverage for many generations to come. However, before this unique material can be used in its different forms in the production of architectural paints, the kaolin first needs to pass through a complex series of processing and refining processes at Dorfner. The result: highly specialized calcinated kaolins which unfold their versatility and advantages in the form of DORKAFILL® H, DORKAFILL® Pro_Void, DORKAFILL® X-Pand or DORKAFILL® C in modern architectural paints.

Contrary to general trends in the industry, we are investing in our application engineering systems and putting huge effort into the running of our own paint laboratory.
